MRC Advanced Course Masters Studentships in Bioinformatics / Genetic Epidemiology and Bioinformatics
Four prestigious, full-time studentships are available to study for an MSc in Bioinformatics / Genetic Epidemiology and Bioinformatics at Cardiff University (http://www.cardiff.ac.uk/pgt/2803). These awards for October 2012 entry include the payment of all tuition fees, a stipend of £13,590 and a further training grant of £1,000. Only UK citizens or EU citizens with more than 3 years’ UK residency are eligible to apply.
The course is embedded within the MRC Centre for Neuropsychiatric Genetics and Genomics (http://medicine.cf.ac.uk/cngg/). Applications are invited from graduates in a range of scientific disciplines who can demonstrate high motivation to study in this area and have some existing skills in either computing or statistics.
