Training tomorrow’s water engineers
Funded Research Engineer opportunities exist within
stream, the industrial Doctorate Centre for the water
sector. Enhanced stipend of £19,000 rising to £20,000
for the final two years.

science to drive a step-change in the sustainability of water services
for people, agriculture, industry and the environment? If so, the
stream programme offers an opportunity to pursue your ambition.
This four year postgraduate training programme of research
and training leads to an EngD degree, and is delivered by five
collaborating universities. Current research projects include:
• Climate change impacts on treatment and assets
• Drinking water quality
• Flood risk and treatment failure analysis
• Novel investment and project appraisal methods
