The Institute of Health and Society, Newcastle University, is pleased to offer two PhD studentships, to start October 2012. Candidates can select from four topics:

The Concept of Vascular Cognitive Impairment no Dementia (HS010)

The development and evaluation of an SMS-based intervention to improve blood glucose control in children with Type 1 Diabetes (HS011)

The modulation of epigenetic programming and DNA repair by folate intake during pregnancy on the development of paediatric cancers (HS012)

Creating and breaking habits in diabetes management consultations between health professionals and patients (HS013)
