Ledwood Technology and the University of Liverpool seek a suitably qualified graduate to undertake R&D into radar systems that addresses coastal navigation, safety, security, fuel efficiency, and sustainable resource use. The solutions enable decision-makers to address problems of changing coastal morphology arising from climate change, storms, sedimentation and hydrodynamics, and ensure that vessel traffic and maintenance operations are safe and resource efficient. Applicants should have a first degree or Masters in the natural or physical sciences or electronics and experience in hydrodynamics, modelling, data processing, or radar applications.
