MRC DTA PhD Studentships 2013

Imperial College London is offering up to eleven MRC funded PhD studentships to start in October 2013. As part of this support, funding is provided at the end of three years for a six month writing up period.
Applicants can choose a 4.5-year programme, so as to include registration for a Masters degree course chosen from the extensive portfolio offered by Imperial College, followed by the PhD. For those who already have a relevant Masters degree, 3.5-year PhD studentships are also available. For the Masters year a stipend is offered at the MRC rate of £15,740 p/a. For PhD studies, an enhanced stipend of £17,500 p/a is offered.
All students will belong to the Graduate School, which provides a comprehensive Transferable Skills Programme.
