Further information

The Postgraduate Certificate in Global Health Challenges is an online distance learning programme that focuses on the issues shaping global health agendas. It examines a range of major health challenges and the policies and practices that are impacting on health in the 21st century across low, middle and high income countries. The Certificate explores ways in which health, illness and health care are changing as the world changes, and looks at how multiple and increasingly diverse factors determine health and wellness. Using a range of case studies from different continents the course embeds theories and policies into practical examples. The course looks at various solutions that have been proposed by different players to tackle the global health challenges and investigates ways in which local communities across the globe have sought to manage changes and turn around problems.
