Notification of future needs

The Food Standards Agency has published its Forward Evidence Plan which summarises the topic areas in which the Agency expects to issue requests for proposals in financial year 2010/11. These will deliver the evidence to support the new Strategic Plan 2010 - 2015.

In some areas, more work is needed to develop the final requirements, but the summaries should provide a good indication of the direction of travel.

It should be noted that this Forward Plan is subject to budgetary confirmation and the possibility that some of the research areas may be displaced by priority evidence needs emerging within the year.
