Title: PhD studentship for research on horseshoe crabs (Limulus polyphemus) at the Institute of Aquaculture, University of Stirling, Scotland - Biology
Description: Applications are invited for a fully-funded full-time PhD studentship (Biology) to carry out research on aspects of the biology and aquaculture of Limulus polyphemus, the Atlantic horseshoe crab or king crab.
This work will be carried out in conjunction with Marine Biotech Ltd (MBL) a new company located near to Stirling, conducting commercially oriented research on useful biological and medical products that can be derived from marine organisms. The studentship will be based primarily at MBL with full access to the resources of the Institute of Aquaculture and University of Stirling.
